Cum Laude for Bachelor of Administration Graduates
Mr Mahomed Saib and Ms Lanelle Sewcharan are excited about exploring the avenues that the qualification will open for them.
For Saib, his motivation for pursuing a qualification in administration was linked to his passion for Human Resources Management, understanding human behaviour, and the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.
‘I have always been interested in understanding human behaviour and the dynamics of interpersonal relationships. Personal growth was another motivator as I realised pursuing such a qualification would lead to a fulfilling and rewarding experience that would help me to grow personally and professionally.’
Having majored in Human Resources Management (HR) and Public Administration, Saib aspires to pursue a career in HR.
‘It is my dream and passion to pursue a career and opportunity in the field of HR. My qualification is worthwhile as it encompasses essential functions in any organisation. It is also an in-demand field as the continual growth of organisations brings about a need for more human resources professionals. Furthermore, it can lead to a diverse work path with transferable skills.’
Sewcharan, who also majored in HR and Public Administration, says this qualification gives her more opportunities to change careers in future.
‘Experiencing lockdown reinforced my decision to get into human resources to be able to help someone find employment, especially in today’s economy. I have always been curious about the field and interested in how people are employed and who is the right fit for the position. I wanted to know the intricacies of how human resources aids a company’s success.’
